Obituary of Geraldine Marie McHenry

Geraldine Marie McHenry, 81

Geraldine Marie McHenry, 81, of West Orange passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 9:45 AM at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave., in East Hanover.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to; St. Jude Children’s Research hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. stjude.org/memorial. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Geraldine was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange.

She was the longtime Manager at Nero’s Grille in Livingston. Geraldine was a member of the Saint Rose of Lima Church Choir.

Geraldine was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. “Mac” McHenry. Devoted mother of Robin Smith and her husband Thomas, Robert W. McHenry, and Patricia Clucas and her husband Scott. Cherished grandmother of Jackie, Ryan, Christopher, Frederick, and Cadence. Great grandmother of Kaylee and Michael. Loving sister of Lillian Adubato Earl, Patricia Harris and her husband Bill, and the late Thomas Fahey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

  During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering together in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping all of us safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
