Obituary of Nohora Patricia Bilotta
Nohora Patricia Bilotta was born on December 29, 1964 in Bogota’ (Colombia) where she grew up till she was 14 years old. At that age she moved to the US with her siblings to reunite with her mother and to embrace a new life. She graduated from Berkeley College and then she started her working adventure. Her longest career was with Dillon and Unifi Inc, two textile yarns companies where Nohora established herself as an excellent customer service person. She was loved by her coworkers, most of whom still today cherish her friendship and remember her beautiful smile. On the night of March 3rd 2007 she then met her future husband Vincenzo, she basically felt in love with him watching him dancing Salsa in his own style (lol) . From that night Nohora and Vincenzo have embarked on an incredible journey that has brought them to getting married in July 2009 and then to travelling around the world, thing for which both had a great passion. Together they have seen Australia, Fiji Islands, Maldives, Seychelles, Hawaii, Italy all over the places, Peru’, London, Prague, Barbados and other Caribbean destinations. Barbados was their favorite destination, they travelled there multiple times and every time it was a blast; loved the people, the food, the nature and the atmosphere.
Nohora has always lived her life to the fullest, always thinking of the others before herself. She always wanted to be there for her friends to support and encourage; she was the most important pillar in her husbands life. Her favorite hobbies were dancing, travelling and gardening; in 2018 she decided to embark on a gardening experience, she became the official produce’s supplier for the family. Oh and let’s not forget she always wanted to be fashionable.
In 2022 she was diagnosed with ALS but no matter what she was going through, she continued to live with dignity and kindness surrounded by her family. Even during this tough period, her main concern was her family well being.
When her strengths reached the lowest point she decided that the moment had come for her to go to enrich God’s garden as the most precious plant. On January 16th 2024 she passed away in the most kind and peaceful way. Now she rests in Peace and she is our guardian angel.
