I only knew Marie a short time, but am heartbroken. This was my first year volunteering with AARP Tax-Aide and was lucky enough to sit across from her at the VAMC. The program has lost an irreplaceable person. She was a fountain of knowledge and, if asked (which I did a lot), would share her wisdom. Return clients always remembered Marie & looked forward to seeing her "next year". She will be sadly missed by many. I will miss her smile and quick wit. My condolences to the family and the grandchildren whom she especially loved.
